Drone operating companies will create AVERPAS, an Association to promote the sector for the benefit and development of the nation.
Eighteen RPAS operating companies, have met to create AVERPAS, Venezuelan Association of RPAS, with the aim of organizing and structuring this industry in the country, and promote the development of the nation through this technology.
AVERPAS will seek that all the companies of the country belonging to this sector are attached to law under the regulations of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) and other competent agencies of the nation, in addition to being aligned with the mandates of OACI (Organization of International Civil Aviation), such as circular 328 and document 10019.
Manuel Pérez Pandavila, CEO of UPDRONE company, a company certified by the INAC under the number ROC: 0002, who will lead in its first year the association AVERPAS, has explained that it has been a historical meeting that has managed to group those who use of this technology in Venezuela and seek to consolidate, through this Association, a legal way to perform its functions. “We are convinced that this will be the beginning of a force that brings together all those involved in this sector and will contribute to the development of the nation in different areas,” he said. “We want to show that we are interested in providing this technology for the development of the country and reduce negative situations linked to actions outside the law,” he said.
The spokespersons and representatives of companies such as Drone Pixel Venezuela, Drone Maracaibo, Drone Anzoátegui, Drones of Venezuela, Maxdrone, Waraira Drone, Drone Tricolor, Eco Rock Drone, Aerofilm 3000, Drone Pro Serotherapy, Pixel 30 Group, SIAP, Visual Infinity, TecniDrone 002, Djivzla, Video Pixeles, and Updrone, have wanted to emphasize that they condemn the illegal use of drones or RPAS and that, on the contrary, they are willing to carry out the necessary procedures for the corresponding certifications. “By organizing ourselves and demonstrating who we are, we open the opportunity to level up our operations and expand the possibility of producing positive facts,” said José Hernández, general manager of Maxdrone, a company already certified by the INAC under the ROC: 0001.
In this activity held in the auditorium of the Nueva Esparta University in Caracas, the participants wanted to make it clear that they are full of good intentions and that they are a sector that brings together professionals developing in diferent industries, such as agriculture, great importance for the nation, construction, tourism, the audiovisual world, platforms of technological integration and endless activities.
The creation of AVERPAS marks an important beginning not only in Venezuela, if not in the Latin American region, as it is the first organization that consolidates drone or RPAS operating companies.
They consider that the future of humanity is in this technology and its applications will provide incalculable benefits for everyone of the country. In the same way, they assure that other companies and independent users will join to form part of AVERPAS.
Also, during the meeting held to create this Association, it was proposed to establish an area dedicated to providing search and rescue support in the event of a natural disaster, an air disaster or any other event that requires the use of RPAS technology. Thus, they have agreed to call it Drone SAR Venezuela, based on the aviation rescue instrument.
